The first thing we noticed about Andrew is that he is a genuinely nice guy. It's always much more pleasant to do business with good people.
The next thing we noticed was that, as he was assessing what he needed to do to get us where we wanted to go, he was always very thoughtful, and went that little bit extra to come up with ideas that would get the job done in first class style, but for the least possible cost.
Over the past few months Andrew has, pretty much single handedly built us new kitchen counters, installed our dishwasher and microwave, rebuilt the small steps down to our living room, built a beautiful shower in our bathroom where there once way a very unattractive tub, built new stairs down to our basement family room, gutted the family room and put it back together with new lighting, improved wiring and a new gas fireplace.
Andrew's workmanship, creativity and attention to detail are pretty much off the charts. He listened to what we wanted and gave it to us with bells on. And he has done this all on budget and in very good time.
Would we recommend Andrew for virtually any renovation job you have? You bet. We already have recommended him a couple of times and will continue to do so. We need Andrew to stay in business, because he's our guy. And we're not finished yet. We like him. We trust him. And our trust has been rewarded with the quality of work that just blew us away.

Gateway has been into our house for two projects. The first was installation of hardwood flooring on the complete upper two floors of our house. We have an old house and it is definitely not level (or square), but they did a fantastic job. The second project was the installation of crown molding all through the main level of the house. Again, the finished product looked great - we're really happy with the workmanship and the level of care that Andrew and his team took with our house.
